Nicki Minaj not worried about ageing

Nicki Minaj isn’t worried about getting older.

The 31-year-old rapper, who regularly posts revealing photographs of herself on her Instagram account, insists she’s not bothered by the process of ageing because she’s doing all she can now to help her stay looking youthful.

She told The Sun newspaper: "I don’t really worry [about getting older]. However, I do take good care of my body. I drink water to help with my complexion, watch what I eat, and I really try to live a healthy lifestyle."

The brunette beauty, who is used to wearing wigs and make-up in her music videos, has recently been exploring and sharing her natural look with the rest of the world.

She explained: "I think it’s important that people know I don’t need wigs or make-up, I just choose to wear them. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wigs and make-up, I just think that you should still be able to strip down and feel confident. It’s been a struggle for me at times."

Nicki admits she’s struggled with confidence in the past because she’s so used to seeing herself hidden behind her signature pieces, but she’s finally starting to deal with her insecurities and appreciate the way she is.

She added: "You get so used to seeing yourself all done up. When you can still feel amazing without any of that on, I think that’s when you really hit the mark."
