Kieron Richardson wants Harry Thompson Hollyoaks return

Kieron Richardson wants Harry Thompson to make a ‘Hollyoaks’ return.
Although Parry Glasspool’s character was killed off at the hands of killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) earlier this week, Kieron – who plays his love interest Ste Hay – hopes that Harry can miraculously make a comeback.
He told Digital Spy: "Personally gutted because I don’t get to see Parry all the time anymore/ I know towards the end of him being here, we didn’t work together that much because he was working more with Greg, but you do build that connection on a personal level with your co-stars and you become friends.
"It’s sad that that’s it. But it’s ‘Hollyoaks’, never say never. People have come back from the dead before. I don’t know if we see the body because I haven’t been in that story. That’s maybe the get out of jail free card, if we don’t see the body."
And Parry would be open to a return for his character.
He said: "I feel like anything’s possible. It would have to make sense, though. I’m not just saying it to put pressure on the producers and say: ‘Oh yeah, you can bring me back if you want to!’ I’m not one of those guys! But if it all made sense and they showed flashbacks of how he got out of it, that’d be cool."
Parry played Harry for five years on the Channel 4 soap and admitted he was surprised to discover he would be the serial killer’s latest victim.
He said: "I found out in March and I was a bit shocked, but I’ve always said that it’s better to go out with a bang.
"I’ve been playing Harry for five years now and you do empathise with your character, so on that level, I didn’t think he deserved to be killed.
"But then I spoke to the producer, Bryan Kirkwood, which helped it to all make sense to me. Bryan made it clear that Harry wasn’t being killed because he’d done bad things."
Parry – who claimed he would’ve liked to have left the door open for a return – explained that one of the reasons for his alter ego’s death was to turn fans against Breda.
He added: "I remember being told upstairs: ‘Breda is really popular, way more popular than we thought she’d be!’ So I think her killing someone that doesn’t deserve it will have a big impact.
"I don’t want people to turn against Moya Brady, because she’s a great actress. But I think, out of all of Breda’s victims, Harry least deserved to die."
