Emmerdale’s Natalie Ann Jamieson wants Jodie Comer cameo

Natalie Ann Jamieson would "love" Jodie Comer to play a villain in ‘Emmerdale’.
The soap star – who replaced Chelsea Halfpenny as Amy Wyatt when she joined the cast earlier this year – hopes the ‘Killing Eve’ actress can make a cameo on the ITV show one day, and thinks she’s had the perfect preparation in the BBC show.
She told Inside Soap magazine: "I think Jodie Comer is amazing! I’d love to work with her, so it would be great if she could come into ‘Emmerdale’.
"She plays the villain very well, but her character in ‘Killing Eve’ is so complex – she’s one of those baddies that everyone loves. Soaps do those characters really well, too."
Natalie made her debut in the ITV soap in March, and her on-screen mother Laura Norton – who plays Kerry Wyatt on the soap – was excited for the newcomer to take over the role of her on-screen daughter Amy five years after Chelsea’s exit.
She previously explained: "I’d like to think I have [taken her under my wing]. Watching her, you remember how scary it was when you started. I had lovely people around me.
"But just in terms of her character, helping her to make it her own. Natalie is a very good actress, and the character should be hers now."
Natalie said at the time: "I feel very lucky to be joining the cast of such a loved and respected show. I’m very grateful for this opportunity, and can’t wait to find out what the future holds for Amy."
