Yewande Biala threatened to leave ‘Love Island’ after an explosive argument with her partner Danny Williams over newcomer Arabella Chi.
The 23-year-old scientist was left in tears on Sunday’s (23.06.19) episode of the ITV2 reality show when she confronted Danny – whom she is paired up with – over the time he has been spending with Arabella.
She told the model: "You told me that you wanted to progress things with me but you failed to mention that you also want to get to know her.
"You told me a couple of days ago you’re not interested in getting to know anyone else. What do you want from me? I don’t really get it. Do you know what you want?"
To which Danny responded: I want me and you to continue talking and I don’t want it to be awkward. In regards to Arabella, I just want to get to know her. That’s it. Can I ask what you want?"
And Yewande hit back: "It’s hard for me to know what I want knowing I am now in competition with someone else."
In the Beach Hut, Yewande then sobbed: "I don’t understand why someone can’t just want me."
The next morning, Anna Vakili asked Yewande how she was feeling, to which she revealed she was considering leaving the show, as she doesn’t believe she’ll "find love" among the contestants.
She said: "I don’t really want to be here any more, I feel I am not going to find love here."
And back in the Beach Hut, she added: "I just need time to really think about what’s going on and then I can decide on what I want to do."
Meanwhile, whilst Yewande was battling with her emotions, model Arabella admitted to Danny she would like him to leave the scientist in an "ideal world".
She asked him: "I think you need to make a decision. If she comes down today and starts fighting for you, what are you going to do? Are you going to ignore the fact that there is a connection with us? Do you want to patch things up with her romantically?"
Danny then asked her what she wants, to which she added: "I want to pursue things with you."
He then clarified: "You want me to say to Yewande ‘this isn’t happening’?"
And Arabella said: "Yes, in an ideal world."
‘Love Island’ continues on Monday (24.06.19) at 9pm on ITV2.
