Owen Warner wants more ‘Hollyoaks’ scenes with his girlfriend Steph Davis.
The 20-year-old actor admits he would be up for filming a lot more alongside his lover – who he started dating in December – because he finds her character Sinead Shelby is "very interesting".
He said: "I’d love some more scenes with Sinead as she seems like a really interesting character."
But the couple may not be able to film scenes together much over the summer, because Owen is planning to take his girlfriend on holiday to Greece.
When asked about getaway plans, he said: "Hopefully I’m going to whisk Steph away to Greece."
But one ‘Hollyoaks’ star who will be departing this summer and not returning anytime soon is Owen’s pal Malique Thompson-Dwyer – who plays Prince McQueen – after the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star quit the Channel 4 soap.
Following the news, Owen has been left "gutted", and admits that while he would love his friend to remain on the programme, he is looking forward to seeing what he does next.
He said: "Words can’t describe how gutted I am! Since I came here he’s been my best mate, and I always have such a laugh with him.
"A selfish part of me wants him to stay but also I can’t wait to see where his career is going to go."
But Owen could have reason to celebrate next year, after Steph recently hinted the pair may marry in 2020.
She recently said: "I used to ask people, ‘How do know if they’re The One?’ and they’d say, ‘You just know.’
"I can’t imagine my life without him. He’s so good to me, and he loves the bones of me. He’s shown me what a real relationship is like.
"He’s the one I am going to marry, so hopefully it’ll happen next year. That’s what he tells me."
