All Together Now axed

‘All Together Now’ has been axed.
The singing competition – which was fronted by Rob Beckett and Geri Horner – has been dropped by the BBC after two series and a celebrity special, but producers are keen to find a new project for the two hosts to work on together.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "The show was good fun and seemed to rate well.
"It had solid ratings and the BBC commissioned a second series, so clearly saw some promise in it.
"But after two airings and a celebrity special, which was won by ‘EastEnders’ Laurie Brett, they’ve decided to leave it there.
"They thought Rob and Geri were a great team and are now seeing what else they can do with them."
A BBC spokesperson confirmed the show had been axed but praised the efforts of all those who had worked on it and helped to sell the format around the world.
The representative said: "We would like to thank Rob and Geri and all members of The 100 for two fabulous series and an unforgettable celebrity special.
"The award-winning format is now on air in 14 countries and the BBC is delighted to have played a part in bringing this unique singing show to the wider TV world.
"We would like to thank the production team for all their hard work in launching such a successful format."
The show saw singers compete for a £50,000 prize by trying to get as many of ‘The 100’ – a huge judging panel – to stand up and sing along as possible in order to progress to the next round.
Michael Rice won the 2018 edition of the show, while the most recent run saw Shelleyann Evans take the crown.
