Jack Fowler found it ‘strange’ when fans threw their bras at him

‘Love Island’ hunk Jack Fowler found it "strange" with fans threw their bras.
The 23-year-old star – who appeared on last year’s series of the ITV2 dating show – admitted he has stayed very popular with the ladies after his time in the villa, although sometimes their displays of affection leave him stunned.
He told the Daily Star Online: "One of the weirdest things for me coming out of the villa was at my PAs.
"There were girls chucking their bras at me, that was a bit strange… I just had to leave them on the floor, I can’t be taking them home."
Jack also gets saucy comments on his social media snaps, and he revealed he takes it all in a "light-hearted" way.
He said: "For me, it’s all light-hearted. I like Instagram and I used it from such a young age, but some of my pictures now I’m topless and in short shorts.
"I read the comments, but I don’t let them go to my head."
Meanwhile, Jack previously demanded there be more psychiatric support for people suffering from depression and mental health following the death of his friend and fellow ‘Love Island’ star Mike Thalassitis in March this year.
While he admits he had psychiatry tests "before and immediately after" his time on the show, he says more should be done about showing people how to cope with the "negative effects" of being "nationally known".
He wrote: "Personal experience .. yeah I had psychiatry tests before and immediately after love island. But I feel like once your off the TV screen then the support network isn’t what it should be. You became nationally known and that’s amazing to a certain degree, but what you don’t see is the after shock of it all & how to cope with the negative effects. (sic)"
Following the deaths of Mike and another former contestant, Sophie Gradon, the show fell under scrutiny for its aftercare programme, prompting producers to bring in new plans for the current series.
ITV have revealed there will be more detailed conversations with potential Islanders regarding the impact of participation on the show, and bespoke training for all Islanders on social media and financial management, which extends support to all Islanders following their participation.
