Keanu Reeves is ‘lonely’

Keanu Reeves is a "lonely guy."
The 54-year-old actor has admitted he doesn’t have "anyone" in his life at the moment that he can see building a romantic relationship with, but he hopes it’ll happen for him one day because he has a lot of love to give to the right person.
According to Malaysia’s Star2.com, Keanu reportedly said when asked what he thinks about love: "You mean romantic love?
"You know, I’m the lonely guy. I don’t have anyone in my life. But if it does occur, I would respect and love the other person; hopefully it’ll happen for me."
And the ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ star certainly knows how to win over the heart of a girl as he pulled out all the romantic stops for his first proper girlfriend.
He explained: "I was 17 and I had an older girlfriend who turned me on to a lot of music. I had this car with these speakers in the back; she turned me on to bands like Joy Division, the Violent Femmes.
"We would get in the car, drink a little, do this or that, and I’d put the speakers on top of the car, and we’d go to a park and we’d dance."
And his love for music has stayed with him as he recently said he sometimes gets the records out and ends up DJing to himself until the early hours of the morning.
He said: "Once in a while, I have the moments, where you drink the whiskey and you get the records out and you start doing the DJ thing until four in the morning."
In the 1990s – shortly before he began starring in the ‘Matrix’ movies – Keanu was the bass player in a grunge band called Dogstar, and although he doesn’t think the group were very good, he had the "biggest grin" on his face whenever they played.
He explained: "We played Milwaukee Metal Fest. Got killed. I think we played close to [New York hardcore-punk legends] Murphy’s Law. Imagine. So we played a Grateful Dead cover, at Milwaukee Metal Fest.
"We were like, ‘They hate us. What are we doing here? What can we do? Let’s do the Grateful Dead cover.’ They were just like, ‘F**k you, you suck’. I had the biggest grin on my face, man.
"I guess it would have helped if our band was better."
