Mark Wright discovers murderous relative on Who Do You Think You Are?

Mark Wright’s appearance on ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ led him to discover he is related to a murderer.
The former ‘TOWIE’ star has looked into his family tree for the BBC series and his quest to find his ancestors led to him discovering his roots are in the travelling community in Eastern Europe.
But most shocking to Mark, 32, was learning that one of his distant relatives was a convicted killer.
Speaking to The Sun’s Bizarre TV column, a source spilled: "After the amazing discoveries that Michelle had during her appearance on the show, Mark was hoping for similar results. They followed his family history all the way back and traced his roots to Eastern Europe and the travelling community. But it was the fact that he had a villainous relative who had committed murder that shocked him."
Mark is following in the footsteps of his wife Michelle Keegan who appeared on the programme.
However, her family tree had more impressive people in it as the ‘Our Girl’ actress discovered a direct link to suffragette heroine Emmeline Pankhurst – the British political activist who helped win women the right to vote in the early 20th Century.
Michelle’s appearance on ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ has had a lasting effect on her as she wants to learn Spanish after discovering her heritage is linked to the European country.
She said: "I love the culture and the hidden gems of the island and it feels more special now when I visit. My family, friends and I love to holiday in Spain and it’s on my bucket list to learn the language. Tapas-style food is my favourite. You get lovely fresh fish in some great marina restaurants in Ibiza.
"My fondest memories of the island are at Cafe Mambo where they have live DJs and everyone watches the sunset. Anyone going to Ibiza has to visit."
