Alan Halsall and Tisha Merry’s friends are relieved their romance is out in the open.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor – who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap – and the former cobbles star (Steph Britton) went public with their relationship at his co-star Sam Aston and Briony Aston’s wedding on Saturday (04.05.19), after the pair had told their pals to keep quiet about their coupling.
One of Tisha’s friends posted a picture of the couple and admitted she was pleased she would "no longer get b*****ed" for sharing the image, and said it made her "eyes leak" seeing her friend "so happy".
The couple had both shared the same image of themselves embracing in the sunshine at Sam and Briony’s wedding.
Alan captioned the picture: "Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston
What a wonderful day, we’re so proud to be part of it (sic)"
Tisha simply wrote a yellow heart emoji as her caption, and Alan posted in the comments: "You’re not a bad + 1 I suppose (sic)"
In February, Alan shared a picture of himself and Tisha but the pair played down romance rumours at the time.

Alan and former ‘Corrie’ co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson (Katy Harris) split last year after nine years of marriage. The former couple have five-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae together.
Former ‘Hollyoaks’ star Lucy-Jo – whose last appearance as Donna-Marie Quinn came just two weeks ago – has since moved on with new boyfriend Lewis Devine.
