Molly Hocking wins The Voice

Molly Hocking has won ‘The Voice’.
The 18-year-old star from St. Ives, Cornwall – who was mentored by Olly Murs – triumphed on the ITV show, beating runner up Deana Walmsley to the crown on Saturday night (06.04.19).
Speaking after her win, Molly was visibly tearful as she told host Emma Willis: "Someone pinch me. All I can say is thank you for voting for me. I am so so shocked. I love you all. I am so so glad you’ve stuck through this with me Olly. You are my inspiration now."
During the final, Molly impressed with a beautiful solo performance of ‘Someone You Loved’ before duetting with Olly on Simply Red’s ‘Stars’. Molly also performed her song of the series, ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ from the hit movie ‘A Star Is Born’.
Meanwhile, Deana was equally thrilled to make it to the top two.
She said: "Thank you so much. It’s been a pleasure to get my name out there and be able to perform. Thank you to Tom [Jones], every step of the way, he’s been there. This isn’t gonna stop now. I’m going to get out there, get an album out and just get my music out there and show everyone. I’m going to spread the positivity. In this world, that’s what it’s all about. I can’t wait to go back to Liverpool and see all my Scousers."
Earlier in the night, Bethzienna Williams and Jimmy Balito exited the show despite giving amazing performances.
Ahead of his performances, Jimmy had taken to social media to thank the show’s fans and his family for showing him so much support after his father lost his battle with cancer during the programme.
He said: "Look I just want to say, ahead of everything tonight, for everyone who has voted thus far, you’ve transformed this year for me, it could have been absolutely horrible."
