Fergie "definitely" wants more children.
The Black Eyed Peas star says she and husband Josh Duhamel are keen to expand their family following the birth of their five-month-old son Axl last November but they don’t plan to start trying for another child soon.
The ‘Let’s Get It Started’ singer told People.com: "We definitely want another one. But there are no plans anytime in the near future."
Fergie’s comments come after Josh seemingly showed signs he is feeling broody when expressing his joy at watching their son grow up during a Reddit AMA last month.
He gushed: "[I love] watching [Axl] develop into a little boy. Sitting up, holding a bottle or cursing around in his walker. You don’t think it’s a big deal, until you see your kid doing it."
Meanwhile, Fergie – real name Stacy Ann Ferguson – also confirmed she is in the "writing phase" of her second solo studio album and is slowly learning how to manage her schedule now that she is a working mother.
She explained: "It’s all about balance, it’s all about increments. I’ve been learning to balance my time in smaller chunks. That’s the secret."
