David Tag wants to see Sylver Queen’s ‘dark side’

David Tag wants Sylver McQueen to "use his physical presence" in darker storylines.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actor – who first appeared on the Channel 4 soap in June last year – has opened up about how he’d like to see his character developed, and he admitted he wants to "really go for it".
He said: "I’d maybe like Sylver to bring out a bit of his dark side even more. I’d like him to really go for it and actually use his physical presence as oppose to just his voice."
In scenes set to air next week, Sylver will meet his biological mother Harriet after recently discovering that Breda (MOya Brady) adopted him when he was just three years old.
David revealed his alter ego is keen to find out "where he really comes from", even if he is "very nervous" about the meeting.
He added: "He wants to meet his biological mother, Harriet, because he wants to know where he really comes from. He is very nervous and excited to meet his mum for the first time, but he he doesn’t really know what to expect!"
Meanwhile, David previously admitted he would have loved the chance to take on the role of former love rival Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan), if he could have picked another character.
He explained: "I’d like to have a go at playing Liam! It seems like he’s a fun character to play because he’s just so bad, through and through.
"He doesn’t need to think about any consequences, and I’d find it quite fun to act aggressive towards people, even though the audience may not like him as much. I think acting wise it would be quite a good challenge."
