Imran Adams says his ‘Hollyoaks’ character has promised has huge "secret" for the Deveraux family.
The soap newcomer – who recently joined the Channel 4 show as stripper Mitchell Deveraux – has vowed that there are some twists in line for the character and his on-screen family after his racy introduction.
Speaking to Inside Soap, he teased: "There’s a secret that will be revealed in due course – the audience will be shocked!
"he family dynamic will start to make more sense, in terms of why the Deverauxs have come to the village, and how they link up to the Lovedays… There are a lot of surprises to come!"
Meanwhile, it seems even Imran was shocked to find out his alter ego would be taking his clothes off for his first appearance on the Channel 4 soap.
He recently joked: "My agent never told me about any stripper scenes. The stripper scene was my first scene I shot for ‘Hollyoaks’.
"I didn’t know the full details until the morning of the shoot, so I get on the ‘Hollyoaks’ set, which was my first time ever, with the director Miguel.
"He’s smiling and telling me what’s expected and what his vision is, and all along I’m just waiting for him to tell me that he’s joking, and that there’s no way I’m going to be stripping on national television.
"But after the third take of me grinding on Nana McQueen with a bunch of extras in nothing but tiny shiny gold pants, there was something in my head that was telling me, ‘Welcome to ‘Hollyoaks!” "
