Holly Willoughby parts ways with Diet Coke

Holly Willoughby has ended her endorsement deal with Diet Coke.
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ presenter has reportedly opted out of renewing her $450,000 contract with the soft drinks company after two years because she has too many commitments and wants to spend more time with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children, Harry nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Holly is one of the bubbliest personalities on TV, so she was a fitting choice to become the face of a fizzy drink.
"But she’s got so much on her plate, what with This Morning, Dancing on Ice and all her other work commitments, that she felt she needed a break.
"They’ve parted amicably and she’s looking forward to spending more time with her family now she has one less commitment."
As well as hosting ‘Dancing On Ice’ and ‘This Morning’, Holly stood in for Ant McPartlin on the 2018 series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and has endorsement deals with Marks and Spencer and Garnier.
Diet Coke have confirmed they won’t be working with the 36-year-old beauty this year.
They said: "For this year’s campaign, we have no plans to work with Holly, but that’s not to say we wouldn’t work together again in the future."
Holly’s decision comes a few months after she stepped back from lifestyle brand Truly, shortly before it was due to launch.
She used Instagram to confirm the news that she wouldn’t be involved in the company, which is a venture between Peter Jones, his wife Tara, 45, and Holly’s sister Kelly, 40, all of whom all directors of the firm.
She wrote: "After much consideration, I have made the decision to step away from Truly.
"To launch a brand needs total dedication and at the moment, with so many other commitments, this is not something I feel I can do without it starting to affect my family time at home. I wish Truly all the success for the future."
At the time, it was claimed her decision had been made so she could be with her family more.
A source said: "It was a really tough decision for Holly, but it’s one that’s come quite late in the day. Truly was meant to launch in the next few weeks but at the 11th hour, she’s said she could no longer be a part of it.
"It will mean the whole launch will now be pushed back until next year, which is a major headache.
"It’s about what’s best for her family. It was a hard decision but the right one for Holly and her husband Dan. She’d done a load of publicity around the launch of it just weeks ago. So it was a real last minute decision."
