Aljaz Skorjanec: Strictly Come Dancing will miss Pasha

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Aljaz Skorjanec believes that the show is going to miss departing dancer Pasha Kovalev because you need experienced performers like him behind the scenes.
The 29-year-old Slovenian dancer joined the BBC One ballroom show in September 2013 for the eleventh series and he admits he will always be appreciative to Pasha – who announced he is quitting the programme last week – for his support backstage and guidance when he entered the "crazy ‘Strictly’ world".
Aljaz also thinks the departures of Brendan Cole and James Jordan are big losses to the show because they had the experience to help the celebrity contestants and the more inexperienced dancers.
In an interview on ‘Lorraine’, he said: "Pasha has been such a huge part of this show and his results and what he’s achieved on ‘Strictly’ speaks for itself but he was so supportive, incredibly kind, always a true gentleman, and someone that as soon as you get into that crazy ‘Strictly’ world as a professional you could look up to. People like Brendan, Anton (du Beke), James and Pasha were always there for us newbies, there for guidance and Pasha was incredible at that so we’re definitely going to miss him."
Aljaz was joined on the ITV morning TV show by his wife and fellow ‘Strictly’ professional Janette Manrara, and she spilled that the couple have started thinking about having a baby together but at the moment they are just too busy with work to set a time frame to become parents.
Janette – who is heading out on a UK tour with Aljaz for their dance show ‘Remembering The Movies’ – said: "As a woman, it’s a big decision whenever we do decide to have a child, we talk about it all the time, we adore kids, when we are around babies we get so broody … We’re definitely going to have children, it’s just that right now our careers are at such a high we are enjoying dancing so much and we’re enjoying being on Strictly so much and the opportunities we are being given at the moment, like doing ‘Remembering The Movies’, and other incredible projects that we are part of we can’t let go of just yet."
