Jamie Laing got ‘high’ on crime show

Jamie Laing got "a bit high" while filming ‘Famous and Fighting Crime’.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star joined police on the raid of a cannabis farm – where over £100,000 worth of drugs were found – for the Channel 4 show but forgot to wear a protective mask and spent ages "inhaling" the fumes of the illegal plans.
He said: "We all stunk of weed.
"I was inhaling it for ages while we were cutting these things down and bagging them up – then realised why everyone was wearing a mask.
"I felt a bit high, if I’m being honest. That’s what the masks were for. I forgot to wear mine."
And the 30-year-old star was left feeling "terrible" after the raid.
He added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "I haven’t smoked pot since I was at uni and I thought, ‘OK!’.
"It turns out it just made me feel sick. It made me feel terrible."
Jamie recently admitted he was "shocked" to realise his fee for two weeks working on the reality show was almost as much as many police officers earn in a year.
He said: "I am aware I do not always have to work as hard to earn money as other people.
"For example, this month Channel 4 will air a TV show I made called ‘Fighting Crime’ where I worked as a police officer for two weeks.
"At one point, I found out what some police officers get paid a year – not even £24,000 – working day in, day out. I realised I was getting nearly as much as that just for doing the TV show. I was shocked. It brought me back down to earth."
