The 1975 sign new deal with Dirty Hit record label

The 1975 have signed a new three album deal with Dirty Hit.
The record label’s founder Jamie Oborne has confirmed that the ‘Give Yourself a Try’ hitmakers – who have already released three chart topping LPs with the company – have agreed to extend their working relationship even further.
Speaking to Music Week, Jamie said "The 1975 extended their deal with Dirty Hit, The 1975 are with Dirty Hit for a long time.
"They ARE Dirty Hit, so of course they’d extend. The 1975 had a three-album deal and they’ve extended it for another three albums, which is amazing. Myself and the boys, we were so happy."
The band – made up of Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald and George Daniel – released their self titled debut on the label in 2013.
Three years later, they followed it up with ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It’, and then last year the group released ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’.
News of their extended deal comes before the group unveil their fourth record ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’ on May 31.
Although the deal is with Dirty Hit, Jamie explained that the label will continue to work with Polydor when it comes to The 1975.
He explained: "People seem to think that Dirty Hit is a Universal label and it is absolutely not, it’s 100% independent.
"I have a joint venture with Interscope and Polydor on The 1975, because at the time it would have been a pointless, prideful decision to not partner with people who had the resources to help us move forward."
