Zara McDermott and Adam Collard have split after seven months together.
The ‘Love Island’ stars – who met in the villa on the most recent series of the ITV dating show – have called time on their relationship, and Zara admitted she is "heartbroken" over the breakup.
She wrote on Instagram: "I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways. I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him and our time spent together.
"I have tried so hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it work.
"Sometimes in life, you just aren’t enough for someone; no matter what do for them or how much you try to me.
"For everyone asking if I’m OK, I don’t know that I am. But I know that soon I will be. I will be strong and prove to myself that I can get through this."
It has been reported that rows over Adam’s late night partying were behind the split.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Adam and Zara have spent the last week having furious arguments. There’s still so much love between them but they have decided for the moment that it’s best to go their separate ways.
"They were due to go on a romantic holiday to the Maldives together this week but will no longer be going.
"They did their best to work through their issues but at this stage there’s no going back. They have since unfollowed each other on Instagram."
The news comes after reports that the couple had been fighting for their romance after Zara criticised her man for his late night boozing with Instagram model Brittany Archer and fellow reality stars Jack Fincham and Sam Bird.
A source previously said: "Zara wasn’t happy after discovering Adam was out with the group that included Brittany.
"As a girlfriend it isn’t always comfortable to see your partner partying with other women you don’t know.
"They ended up having a big argument over Adam’s antics and he’s since gone home to give them some space."
