Hollyoaks’ David Tag hints Breda could kill Liam

David Tag has hinted Hollyoaks’ Breda McQueen will go after Liam Donovan.
The soap star wouldn’t be surprised if his alter-ego Sylver McQueen teams up with the serial killer – who is played by Moya Brady – to do away with Liam (Maxim Baldry) after she set about trying to cleanse of the village of several bad boys.
David said: "This is something Moya and I have discussed. Liam’s messing with her family and considering her motives for killing in the past, I’m surprised she hasn’t gone after Liam yet."
While the actor claims he isn’t sure what will happen, he could certainly see a plot where his character joins forces with his evil adoptive mother to ensure Liam meets his maker.
He added to Inside Soap magazine: "I’ve no idea what will happen, but I think if Sylver found out his mum was the killer, he would say, ‘Right, let’s do Liam in.’ He definitely wants rid of him."
Breda recently bumped off Louis Loveday (Karl Collins), and the 48-year-old actor admitted afterwards he expected his exit from the Channel 4 soap to be "less emotional".
He said: "I thought I would be less emotional about it, actually. Four years is a good stretch of time. It’s the longest period I’ve spent in one job and I always knew that I wanted to do four years maximum. Leaving coincided perfectly with another job, which I actually started rehearsing for before I’d left ‘Hollyoaks’.
"But it did catch me by surprise, in terms of how emotional it was. The people at ‘Hollyoaks’ really make that place. It’s always lovely when you get on well with your colleagues, both on camera and off. I’ve also loved living in Liverpool for the time that I’ve been here.
"So leaving has been quite a wrench, I would say."
Breda has also been responsible for the deaths of Carl Costello (Paul Opacic) and Glenn Donovan (Bob Cryer).
