Adam Rickitt pays tribute to dad as he attends funeral

Adam Rickitt paid tribute to his beloved father ahead of his funeral this afternoon (29.01.19).
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actor – who plays Kyle Kelly in the Channel 4 soap – took to his Instagram account to pen a touching post about his dad, and the former ‘Coronation Street’ star admitted he hadn’t stopped "crying" since he announced his father had passed away earlier this month (15.01.19).
Adam captioned a post: "Off to bid farewell to this one today. This photo is of my favourite memory of dad…we’re on holiday and I’m giving him nipple cripples if he laughs. Both of us were crying with laughter. Now just crying…you were complicated soul…but also the best of them. Love always…raise a glass on me while you watch (sic)"
Adam, 40 – who tied the knot with ‘Good Morning Britain’ correspondent Katy Fawcett in 2014 – previously confessed that his father liked to live an "extravagant" lifestyle, despite being good with "other people’s" money, and said his father "believed you earned money to enjoy life".
Adam added: "He established his own merchant bank, Rickitt Mitchell & Partners, and would do deals for hundreds of millions of pounds.
"He was good with other people’s money, but with his own he was too extravagant.
"When he had it, he would spend it – on fancy holidays and friends. My mum, Jill, was the opposite."
