Megan Barton Hanson can’t help but feel "jealous" that her boyfriend Wes Anderson is spending 12 hours a day with his ‘Dancing On Ice’ partner Vanessa Bauer.
The 24-year-old reality television star feels as though Vanessa, 22, is getting the best of her man on the ITV show, whilst she gets Wes when he returns home tired after rehearsals and her jealousy is the reason why she lashed out at the 22-year-old figure skater on social media this week.
When asked whether her "insecurities" had caused her to attack Vanessa online on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (17.01.19), Megan said: "I feel like it’s natural, the first year of living with someone is hard anyway. Whether we both had 9 to 5 jobs, whether we weren’t in the public eye. Then to have Wes to have three hours a night when he’s exhausted after doing 12 hours a day training, I think it’s normal. It’s not like insecurity.
"I’m jealous, I’m selfish. I want to have him I want to have the best bits. I want to be parading around in ice dressed in sexy Lycra dancing with him not have the tired West at night."
In her rant on her Instagram stories, Megan – who met and fell for Wes, 20, on dating reality show ‘Love Island’ last summer – accused Vanessa of announcing her split from her partner Louis Nathaniel just hours before last Sunday’s live show, as a "tactical break up" designed to stir romance rumours between Vanessa and Wes.
She also claimed that Vanessa didn’t make any effort to introduce herself in the studio.
Megan is now sorry for her social media slam and has reached out to Vanessa to make amends after getting her phone number from Wes.
The curvaceous blonde said: "I should have got her number from Wes and just messaged her and been like, ‘Babe, I want to be friends with you, I want us to be all on the same team.’ I sent her a message last night and we are resolving it now … I want to draw a line underneath it. My priority is Wes."
