Noel Edmonds to move to New Zealand?

Noel Edmonds is planning to move to New Zealand.
The 70-year-old TV presenter and his wife Liz, 49, have put their seven-bedroom home near Bristol up for sale for £2.65 million and have begun house hunting across the world, with the ‘Deal or No Deal’ star’s unhappiness at being first voted off the recent series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ said to be the trigger for them deciding to make the life-changing move.
A source told the Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Noel and Liz have been looking at properties in New Zealand with a view to moving there.
"The fact he got the boot first from ‘I’m A Celeb…’ really smashed him to pieces.
"He thought the show was the chance to repair his image.
"He relies very much on appearing popular and is devastated he was first voted out. He really thought he could win but now feels unappreciated by the British public…
"He and Liz think New Zealand could be a fresh start and Noel thinks he will be appreciated there.
"But he is very upset at the thought of leaving his animals especially his swans who he is very close to and likes to talk to, as a form of therapy."
However, a spokesperson for the former ‘Noel’s House Party’ host dismissed speculation the veteran broadcaster had slipped into a depression over the result and insisted he had always planned to spend at least part of the year in New Zealand.
The spokesperson said: "He has always had a plan to live part of the year in New Zealand.
"Noel is full of energy and there are a number of work offers he is considering. He is not down."
