James Gardiner reveals Dancing On Ice curse

James Gardiner has claimed ‘Dancing On Ice’ has more of a ‘curse’ than ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The TV skating show judge has hinted at some racy action behind the scenes, and insisted the show is worse than its competitor when it comes to flings between the celebrities and their pro partners.
Asked about a ‘curse’, he told the Daily Star newspaper: "We’ve hadloads of those. We just don’t make a song and dance about it."
While ‘Strictly’ doesn’t hide away from its scandals, James suggested that ‘Dancing On Ice’ chooses to keep its own controversies quiet rather than looking for a ratings boost.
He added: "We don’t have to!"
Meanwhile, ‘Strictly’ judge Bruno Tonioli previously revealed he thinks the show’s so-called curse can be "wonderful".
Asked if he believes in the sensation, he said: "I think it’s been created: sometimes it could be a blessing? I mean, people together and passion is a wonderful, wonderful thing!"
And Bruno thinks it’s common for relationships to form in the workplace so there is nothing different about it happening on the show.
He added: "I love it that people are so involved, but it could happen in any situation where people work close together. It could happen in a factory, it could happen in an office.
"Chemistry is a huge part of how you’re going to perform. It doesn’t have to be for real: Fred and Ginger hated each other, but the chemistry was off the charts."
However, the Italian star claimed he and his fellow ‘Strictly’ judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas – don’t talk about the contestants’ personal lives, such as when Seann Walsh was pictured kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones, because they are too busy.
He said: "We haven’t time to gossip. We turn up and it’s such an intense day when we get there. If the foundations are strong, usually houses stand still. Relationships are the same."
