James Argent says he and Gemma Collins may return to TOWIE in 2019

James Argent hopes to return to ‘The Only Way is Essex’ next year.
The 31-year-old reality star was one of the original cast members when the show launched in 2010 and while he’s busy with his music and filming his own spin-off show with his girlfriend Gemma Collins, he teased he could be heading back to his roots in 2019, despite not being a part of the most recent series.
Arg exclusively told BANG Showbiz at The Sun’s Military Awards 2018 last night at Banqueting House in London (14.12.18): "Next year The Arg Band is reforming, plenty of singing gigs, potentially Gemma and I are doing our own show together, maybe go back to ‘TOWIE’ see if I feel it’s right, see how it goes.
Arg is currently starring as Abanazar in a production of ‘Aladdin’ in Manchester’s Middleton Arena and is thoroughly enjoying playing a villain.
He gushed: "Panto is great, I’m just outside of Manchester and I’m in ‘Aladdin’, I absolutely love it, it’s been good fun!
"I’m playing a baddie which is a bit weird but It’s great. It’s pretty tough being away from home for five weeks, especially over the Christmas season but I’m going to come back home for Christmas Day."
When it comes to December 25, Arg will be enjoying the big day with his girlfriend.
He gushed: "There’s nobody else I could possibly spend Christmas Day with other than Gemma."
The former ‘Jump’ contestant heaped praise on Gemma for her dedication to training for ‘Dancing On Ice’.
He said: "She’s working extremely hard, she’s been on time every day from what I have been told, she hasn’t missed a single session and I think she’s going to shock a lot of people.
"There’s a famous line that she uses from Conor McGregor: ‘I’m not here to take part, I’m here to take over.’"
