Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer to host National Television Awards red carpet

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer will present the red carpet coverage at the National Television Awards (NTAs).
The ‘Love Island’ winners – who found love and won the show this summer – are "honoured" to have been named backstage and red carpet correspondents at the upcoming ceremony and can’t believe they’ll be working alongside "TV legend" Dermot O’Leary, who fronts the annual event, in January.
They said: "It has already been such an exciting year for us and to top it off, we’ve been asked to work alongside TV legend Dermot O’Leary at the National Television Awards.
"Last year we were at home on the sofa watching the show so it’s an honour to be involved this year, we can’t wait! Fingers crossed Love Island is in the running on the night too. Bring on 2019!"
As well as fronting coverage for ITV on 22 January, Dani, 22, and 26-year-old Jack will also be taking over the NTAs’ official social media channels for the night.
The longlist of nominees for the 2019 NTAs was announced in October and the shortlist will be announced in January, when the final round of public voting will take place.
This year’s ceremony – which take place at The O2 in London – will feature 14 awards, including a new category for New Drama.
The addition to the prizes honours the exciting selection of shows which have launched in the past year, and the longlist included ‘Bodyguard’, ‘A Very English Scandal’, ‘Killing Eve’, ‘Trauma’, ‘Strangers’, and ‘Bancroft’.
Voting for the NTAs can be done via their website at https://www.nationaltvawards.com/.
