Kayode Damali has been fired from The Apprentice

Kayode Damali has been fired from ‘The Apprentice’.
The 26-year-old professional speaker was the seventh wannabe to be axed from the 16th season of the business reality show tonight (14.11.18) and believes the reason he was eliminated was because Lord Sugar "sees him as just a public face" rather than a viable business partner.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "The things I didn’t do as well, for example, I didn’t perhaps make the best deals I could with the mobile clients and I think Lord Sugar sees me as just a public face and person and not very good necessarily behind the scenes
"He was fair in his decision to himself because he’s gotta think who can he be the best business partner with but in terms of myself I don’t think it as fair."
Despite Kayode being confident with this week’s task, he confessed that his teammates affected his performance and thinks he would have achieved more had he liked the people he was working with.
He said: "I don’t necessarily think it was because of the elements of the task itself I just think that regardless of what the task is, I’m enjoying myself doing it I’ll perform well I just don’t think that I didn’t necessarily enjoy the people I was with doing that task for.
"A massive impact on my performance doing work is the people I work with and I would love to give an example, I could be working in a sewer but if it’s with people who I enjoy being with we will have fun cleaning our sewer, so it’s not the task itself I think your environment has to massive impact."
