Jessie Wallace’s ‘amazing’ Frozen performance

Jessie Wallace had an "amazing day" transforming into Frozen’s Elsa for a Children in Need sketch.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress – known for her portrayal of Kat Moon on the BBC One soap – has filmed a performance of the film’s popular song ‘Let It Go’ as part of a Disney medley which will be put on by her co-stars for charity.
Jessie’s sequence sees her dressed in Elsa’s trademark ice blue dress as she belts out the song – performed by Idina Menzel in the 2013 film – by the swings in the fictional Walford setting, and she had a great time shooting the segment.
She wrote on Twitter: "We all had such an amazing day filming this for @BBCCiN (sic)"
As well as Jessie’s portrayal of Elsa, Tilly Keeper (Louise Mitchell) and Zack Morris (Keegan Baker) will take on the roles of Jasmine and Aladdin from the titular Disney movie.
She said: "It was a dream come true to be a Disney Princess for BBC Children in Need! We had so much fun filming the performance, it was such a special day.
"Let’s hope we all raise lots of money on the night for this fantastic charity."
Zack added "Never in a million years did I think I would be playing Aladdin as I danced round Albert Square.
"I had so much fun taking part and it’s such an honour to be part of something so special.
"I really hope it helps to raise lots of money for BBC Children in Need."
The medley will also feature songs such as ‘Friend Like Me’ from ‘Aladdin’ with Lorraine Stanley (Karen Taylor) performing as Genie, and Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean) will transform into Belle from ‘Beauty And The Beast’, with Davood Ghadami (Kush Kazemi) as Gaston, and Nitin Ganatra (Masood Ahmed) as LeFou.
The full medley will feature on the BBC’s ‘Children In Need’ appeal show, which will air on Friday (16.11.18) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
