Ashley Roberts is addicted to tea

Ashley Roberts has become addicted to tea since moving to the UK.

The former Pussycat Doll never used to drink the hot beverage before moving over to London from the US permanently last year, but has become so engrained in the British lifestyle and culture that she now finds herself craving a mug of milky tea.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I definitely get up now and have tea in the morning, which I never did, ever. If anything I had ice tea because I grew up in Phoenix and it’s so hot you can leave your tea bags out brewing in the sun. But I don’t like that Marmite. It’s not for my taste buds!"

The blonde beauty also revealed she is actively involved with mental health charity MIND and is determined to raise awareness because of her younger brother Jayce, who suffers from schizophrenia which has cost him time in jail in the past.

Ashley explained: "My brother’s mentally ill so it’s a cause which is close to my heart. You can sometimes feel hopeless within the situation and it’s a way to help.

"It’s a great organisation to make people not feel like you’re alone – whether you’re a family member dealing with it or having some kind of mental health issue yourself.

"It helps me feel like there’s something I can do because it’s not necessarily the kind of illness where you can have an intervention or have rehab, it’s something that they do deal with throughout their lives."
