Lady Colin Campbell knew something was "awry" with her marriage just hours after she tied the knot.
The 69-year-old writer tied the knot with Lord Colin Ivar Campbell in 1974 but just moments after they said ‘I do’, Lady C felt something was wrong "because he was the only man she had ever met who didn’t leap on her".
Speaking about her "disastrous" marriage to Lord Colin Ivar Campbell, she said: "Within five days. We married in the morning and by the afternoon I realised that something was awry because he was the only man I had ever met who didn’t leap on me. I mean up until then I was used to having to fight them off. I think he only married me for my money."
Lady C joined ‘Celebrity First Dates’ to find love and was looking for a man, not a mouse.
Explaining her ideal man on the dating show, she shared: "He has to be a man, I don’t like mice . He doesn’t have to be upper class but he has to be able to fit into the upper class world. But I don’t think he exists."
And on the show, the former ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’ star hit it off with her date with Matthew, and the pair ended up having tea in her castle.
