Noel Gallagher wants mega millions for Oasis reunion

Noel Gallagher says it will take an enormous amount of money for him to reform Oasis to headline Glastonbury.
The 51-year-old guitarist has so far resisted the urge to reunite with his brother Liam Gallagher since he quit the band in August 2009 following a huge backstage bust-up between the two siblings and he insists the fee needed for him to get back on stage with the singer would need to be astronomical.
Speaking at the Q Awards at The Roundhouse in London on Wednesday (17.10.18), he joked: "Oasis are playing Glastonbury, yeah … I can exclusively reveal that now."
When the figure £5 million was suggested to him as a possible pay day to bring Oasis back, he scoffed: "How much money would it take to get us back together for Glastonbury? Quite a lot! Five million?! My f***ing kids would want five million! We were massive! It’d be more than five million!"
Noel – who took home two prizes from the ceremony, Best Solo Act and Outstanding Contribution To Music – also ruled out ever writing an autobiography documenting his time in the ‘Supersonic’ group and his fractious relationship with his brother Liam, 46.
The ‘AKA… What a Life!’ hitmaker insists he doesn’t have the patience or the willingness to pen a tome and is happy to let his legacy live on in his music.
Noel – who attended the awards show with his wife Sara MacDonald – said: "I know people who’ve written books. They have to get home early from a night out to write it. It’s bulls**t! My book would be very short. It’d be. I was born on this day … and it was great ever since.’ There’d be too much swearing in it, too."
