Stacey Solomon has split from her fiance.
The 24-year-old singer-and-presenter – who shot to fame after finishing third on ‘The X Factor’ in 2009 – and Aaron Barnham have called time on their four-year relationship, her spokesperson has confirmed.
The representative said: "It’s with regret that I can confirm that Stacey’s relationship with Aaron has unfortunately come to an end."
Stacey is now focusing her attention on her two sons, Zachary, six, from a previous relationship, and Leighton, 23 months, who she has with Aaron.
The spokesperson added: "Her priority is her two children. She thanks her fans for their support at this time."
The pair – who began dating in 2009 and got engaged in December 2011 – haven’t spoken out about the split, but friends say Stacey is "upset" by the break-up.
One source told Closer magazine: "Stacey is being tight-lipped about why she split from Aaron but, like many couples, they had their problems and she’s understandably upset."
After welcoming Leighton into the world in May 2012, Stacey gushed she had everything she had ever wanted.
She said: "I couldn’t be happier. I’ve got a lovely family, a wonderful fiance, my own home and a brilliant job.
”As much as this is a big deal because it’s Aaron’s first baby, we’re all part of the same family. Aaron looks at Zach the same way he looks at Leighton.”
