Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart’s chemistry praised

Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish have "amazing chemistry on-screen" in ‘Night School’ because of their close friendship off-screen.
The two comedians star together in the new movie and executive producer James Lopez admits their ability to improvise is incredible and comes from their close relationship.
Speaking to Variety, James said: "Their chemistry is amazing on screen and it’s because of their personal relationship. They came up as comics together, in the scene. No one improvises like they do."
The film follows high school drop-out Teddy Walker, played by Hart, who is forced to attend evening class to get his high school diploma when he finds himself unemployed after he accidentally blows up his place of employment.
Teddy joins a class of other misfits including his former high school nemesis and it is the job of teacher Carrie, played by Tiffany, who has the responsibility of ensuring her class passes.
And director Malcolm D. Lee – who previously worked with Tiffany on ‘Girls Trip’ – is as fullsome in his praise of the pair as producer James, and the comedic talents of the rest of the ensemble cast, which includes Taran Killam, Rob Riggle, Romany Malco and Megalyn Echikunwoke.
Malcolm said: "For me, my goal, you gotta cast really funny people and that way everyone can elevate their game. It definitely gets competitive. We want that though.
"Ensemble comedies are very tough, and nowadays especially, nobody’s coming out of their house to go see one. So I wanted to make sure we had a lot of options in the editing room."
