Sigala: I could save X Factor

Sigala thinks he could save ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘Came Here for Love’ hitmaker thinks he would make a great addition to the panel on the ITV talent show as "more and more people bringing house and dance music to those platforms".
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I would absolutely love to be a judge on a show like The X Factor, especially with more and more people bringing house and dance music to those platforms now. It would make sense to have a DJ or something on the panel, moving with the times. They have seen some huge talent over the years and I love discovering new voices and new talent. I love seeing house/tropical dance is continuing to grow and it’s become so huge, there’s no denying that."
Meanwhile, Sigala previously revealed he has been experimenting with new "sounds" and fresh "flavours" on his upcoming debut album.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I’ll have an album out in the summer, so I’m quite excited about that … Most of the singles previously are gonna go on the album, so probably half singles and half new stuff. It’s been great man, it’s been a chance to experiment with different sounds and different flavours."
And when it comes to teaming up with other artists, Sigala explained that the right voice and some common ground is vital.
He said: "What’s really important to me is the voice, at the end of the day. It’s also great to get on with that person. If I don’t get on with somebody then it’s really hard to be creative. It’s got to be a unique voice and easy to get on with."
