Big Brother eye revealed ahead of start date

The new ‘Big Brother’ eye logo has been revealed.
The 19th civilian edition of the Channel 5 reality TV show will start on September 14, just four days after the celebrity edition comes to an end on Monday night (10.09.18).
Information on the upcoming series has been kept under wraps so far, although the logo hints at a cosmic theme with the eye described as an "interplanetary orb of luminous colours".
Channel 5 hinted: "Big Brother is ready with a bold new series of tasks and twists to challenge and surprise the housemates."
Emma Willis will once again be back to host the show, beginning with the live launch, and Rylan Clark-Neal will return for ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’.
There is speculation the new cosmic eye logo – and the upcoming series – could be the final edition, with the future of the long-running reality show in doubt.
Speaking at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last month, Channel 5 boss Ben Frow admitted: "I have planned for a year without ‘Big Brother’. But never say never. The contract runs out at Christmas."
However, producers Paul Osborne and Tamsin Dodgson have insisted nothing is confirmed regarding the end of the show’s time on air, as negotiations are on-going.
Paul said: "We don’t know that it’s going to be the last one at all, everything is still under negotiation and we’re very hopeful."
