Robbie Williams feels like X Factor ‘boss’

Robbie Williams feels like "the boss" on ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker and his wife Ayda Field joined the judging panel as part of a £10 million deal for the current series, and while the talent show is Simon Cowell’s "baby", the singer feels in control.
He’s quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "In my world, I’m the boss. This show is Simon’s baby and has been for the longest time. He’s the best at it, so I’m always going to respect that he’s the boss.
"But at the same time, in my world, I’m the boss. So it’s an interesting juxtaposition between us, because ever since I left Take That I’ve been in a solo career, all the choices and decisions have been mine. Now I’m in a band again."
Robbie, 44, has proven popular with fans, especially with his dynamic with Simon, 58, and he admitted he’s loved stealing his boss’ thunder to get a rise out of him.
He teased: "I’ve been doing a lot of raising my hand up to stop the music, to stop the audition. I didn’t realise that it’s only Simon who does that normally.
"I’ve been trying to get [Louis Tomlinson] to do it a bit more often. I’m like, ‘Go on, put your hand up first, it feels great.’ "
Simon doesn’t appear to mind though, and he added that the huge fee has been money well spent so far.
He explained: ""To be honest with you, yes – it’s the best £10 million I’ve ever spent. In life you have to do things like this. I’d rather do this than do nothing. For me it’s exciting and makes it more thrilling."
