Kylie Minogue to join Dermot O’Leary for Reel Stories

Kylie Minogue is set to journey through her career with Dermot O’Leary for a new programme from the BBC.
Ahead of her headlining set at BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, the Australian pop star will take a look back through her incredible career on ‘Reel Stories: Kylie Minogue’.
The programme will explore her early beginnings on Australian TV, through her experimental phase in the mid-90s and to the dizzying heights of global mega-hit ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’.
The programme will be available to watch from 7am on Friday (31.08.18) on BBC iPlayer.
The ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ star turned 50 in May and despite an illustrious career – which has seen her sell as many as 85 million records – Kylie believes she still has a lot to learn.
Kylie also admitted her recent birthday was influential while writing her latest record ‘Golden’.
She said: "Turning 50 definitely played a part because it was looming.
"I had a number of my friends who were either there or approaching 50 and this time in life, it feels like you get rid of some unnecessary stuff.
"You let go of some things, you decide to do the things you’ve been talking about and haven’t done. It’s a time of assessing, I guess.
"I really felt like I just wanted to be in the moment and grasp the here and now. A lot of the new album talks about stages in my life, where I was in that moment and perhaps where I might be going."
