Luis Fonsi sending ‘positive vibes’ to Demi Lovato

Luis Fonsi is sending "nothing but positive vibes" to Demi Lovato as she continues treatment in rehab following her overdose.
The 26-year-old singer was rushed to hospital at the end of last month after she was found unconscious at her home following a suspected heroin overdose, and now that she’s out of hospital and receiving treatment in rehab, the ‘Despacito’ hitmaker – who worked with her on his latest single ‘Echame la Culpa’ – is wishing her all the best.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the 40-year-old singer said: "I consider her my friend and she’s somebody I care a lot for. I was concerned, but I’m glad she has her priorities clear and she knows what she needs to do. As I said in my Instagram post, she’s a strong soul and I know she’ll get through it, through the sickness and we’re only here to support her.
"The world is behind her and we all want her to get better and we’re all sending her nothing but positive vibes," he continued. "I have faith that she’s going to come back stronger than ever and she’s going to be an example for many people who have gone through this."
Recently, Demi was said to have jetted off to Chicago to meet with a therapist who specialises in addiction, which was set up for her through her current treatment centre.
It was claimed the star would be spending "several months" in rehab as part of an "extensive" program, but sources said she was already doing "much better".
They said: "She will be in rehab for several months and is doing an extensive program to ensure she gets the help she needs.
"Demi is doing much better. She has become more open and is happy she is getting the help she needs, [as she now] grasps the severity of what happened and that she almost died."
