Chloe Ferry defends Rodrigo Alves

Chloe Ferry has defended Rodrigo Alves’ use of racially offensive language on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ starlet insisted the Human Ken Doll is a "very nice person" who didn’t mean to use the N-word twice during scenes which aired on Friday’s (17.08.18) episode of the Channel 5 reality show.
Speaking on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’, she told host Rylan Clark: "I think he’s a very nice person, and I feel like he didn’t mean to say it. I really really like him and I think he didn’t mean to say it. But he did say it."
Rodrigo used the offensive word twice during a conversation with fellow housemates Gabby Allen, Natalie Nunn, Chloe Ayline, and Dan Osbourne.
When quizzing Dan about his love life, Rodrigo said: "Are you married? The girls want to know, not me, you’re not my type anyway. No for god’s sake. I like a n**** boy, he’s too white for my sake. I like a n**** boy."
He was later pulled into the Diary Room and received a stern warning from ‘Big Brother’, who told him his language was "unacceptable".
They told him: "Rodrigo, before you entered the ‘Big Brother’ house, the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you.
"This morning at 2:40am in the bedroom in a conversation with Dan, Gabby, Chloe, and Natalie, you used the N-word twice.
"Rodrigo this word is highly offensive, and very likely to cause significant offence to both your housemates and more importantly, the viewing public. Do you understand?"
The star claimed he "regretted" using the racially offensive term, but blamed his behaviour on being "drunk".
He said: "I do understand. Last night I was very excited to be here, and I had quite a lot to drink, and I was intoxicated. I was drunk. In fact I was very drunk, and today I’m very hungover, I’ve been drinking a lot of water. I obviously regret that, the fact that I used the N-word. That was not necessary at all. It was just excitement, I’d had quite a lot to drink."
Rodrigo was warned that he would be kicked off the show if he used the word again.
Former ‘CBB’ contestant Carol Giffen received a warning during her time on the show, when she called Charlotte Crosby a s**g and said it felt like being told off at school.
She said: "You don’t want to be thrown out for something silly like that. It does make you feel stupid, because you are warned about everything before you go in.
"It does make you feel like you’ve been sent back to school and told off by the headmaster."
