Ruth Langsford doesn’t feel ‘too old’ for another kid

Ruth Langsford doesn’t feel "too old" to have another child.
The 58-year-old TV presenter has admitted she would try for a baby if she didn’t already have 16-year-old son Jack Holmes with husband and fellow ‘This Morning’ co-host Eamonn Holmes, because she feels "fit and healthy" and loves kids.
After interviewing Carolyne Ness on the brunch-time show about her having a baby aged 58, Eamonn, 58, asked Ruth: "Could you go through that again now?"
She replied: "Yeah. I feel fit, I feel healthy, I love children, so yeah.
"I wouldn’t because I’ve got one, but if I didn’t have one that’s what I’m saying.
"Often people in a privileged position of having children say, ‘Oh, you shouldn’t do that, you’re too old.’
"But I don’t feel too old."
However, Eamonn – who also has kids Declan, 29, Rebecca, 27, and 25-year-old Niall from his former marriage to Gabrielle Holmes – isn’t too keen to go through parenthood again.
He said: "I’d think, ‘That’s my worst nightmare.’ No, done it all, don’t want to revisit that.
"But you could?"
Ruth replied: "I’m not going to, but I kind of think I could.
"Don’t you worry, I’m not going to."
Eamonn then joked: "You could if you get a younger husband."
Ruth’s comments come just 14 months after she publicly asked her husband if he "fancied another" child.
She posted a picture of Eamonn cradling a baby on ‘Good Morning Britain’, and she added the caption: "Ahhh! Fancy another then @EamonnHolmes ? I’d better re-think those separate sleeping arrangements @gmb ! (sic)"
