Joe Thomas’s parents watched awkward Inbetweeners sex scene

Joe Thomas stopped watching ‘The Inbetweeners’ with his parents after a very awkward sexual scene popped up on screen.
The 34-year-old actor revealed that while starring in the sitcom he could only bare to watch one episode with his mother and father, in which his character Simon Cooper was pleasured.
When asked if he took in the show with his folks, he replied: Once … the episode where they go to the disco and Simon is w****d off. I thought, ‘I’m not doing this again.’ "
Despite the awkward scene, Joe’s parents were big fans of the sitcom.
He said: "They really liked it – they’ve heard worse."
The ‘White Gold’ actor admitted his parents keep him grounded, but they find his friend and ‘Chickens’ co-star Jonny Sweet funnier than him.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Joe said: "They keep my feet on the ground.
"They openly find Jonny funnier than me."
Joe is currently appearing in movie ‘The Festival’ – a motion picture about three festival-goers who encounter, nudity, drugs and one night-stands – and the film is sure to be as impossible to watch with his parents.
Recalling filming a scene while at a real music festival, Joe said: "There was quite a long chase sequence where I’m running around in my pants at Bestival in front of real humans.
"The stripping scene was difficult. You’re trying to look vaguely good while also being funny. Gets laughs also gets naked."
