Flawless want Simon Cowell dance

Flawless’ Marlon Wallen would love to dance with Simon Cowell – but he’s not sure the music mogul would be able to keep up.
The founder of the street dance group – who reached the final of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009 – are returning to the stage with their epic ‘Chase The Dream: THE REBOOT’ tour next month, and the stars would love to dance with the show judge, but Marlon isn’t confident Simon would be able to follow the moves.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "It would always be Simon because you know Simon’s always a tough judge.
"When you get good feedback from him it makes you feel like, ‘OK I’m definitely doing something right,’ because he’s never happy!
"I think if there was anyone to get dancing it would definitely be Simon … I’m not too sure he’d keep up but he’d definitely be surprising"
The group featured in movie ‘StreetDance 3D’ and 2012 sequel ‘StreetDance 2’, and have collaborated with Kylie Minogue among other stars, but when they first started out in the early 2000s the dance troupe took a major risk in choosing dance as their sole career, which Marlon’s family were "concerned" about.
He said: "If we go back to the year 2000, street dance was never something you could make a career out of it. It didn’t exist.
"My family were very concerned thinking, ‘Are you sure you wanna do this? Maybe you should just do the nine to five?’
"They’re so old school and they know it’s all about hard graft.
"So us basically making that decision and putting our day jobs aside and saying, ‘Look, we wanna really invest our time into this and take it seriously and treat it like a business.’
"The rewards paid back when we did that and made that sacrifice."
Flawless’ 45-date UK tour ‘Chase the Dream: THE REBOOT’ kicks off on September 1 at Octagon Theatre, Yeovil. Tickets: www.entertainers.co.uk.
