Gordon Ramsay’s son signs up for Born Famous

Gordon Ramsay’s son Jack will star in his dad’s new show ‘Born Famous’.
The Channel 4 programme, which will also feature Mel B’s daughter Phoenix Chi, will see celebs’ privileged children head back to their parents’ roots to see what their lives could have been like if their mums or dads hadn’t shot to fame.
In the show, which is produced by Gordon’s TV production company Studio Ramsay, each child will pair up with a local teenager who will take them through their day-to-day life, while a social mobility expert maps out the ‘alternative life’ of each participator.
The new four-part series will follow Jack, who will live in Bretch Hill, Oxfordshire, where his father lived as a teen, before he found success as a TV chef.
Phoenix will spend time in Hyde Park, Leeds; Bethany Mone, daughter of millionaire lingerie designer Michelle Mone, will travel to the East End of Glasgow, and Ria Ince, daughter of former Manchester United footballer Paul Ince, will be sent to Dagenham, Essex.
Emily Jones, commissioning editor, said: "There is a myth that talent will out whatever the circumstances.
"Using extraordinary access so some of our most successful celebrities, ‘Born Famous’ is a novel way to explore the degree to which we’re all in denial about how hard it is to be young today."
Helen Cooke, executive producer, added: "We’re hugely excited to be making this inspiring series which shows some of our biggest celebrities in a way you have never seen, through the eyes of their teenage children.
"It promises to be compelling TV as the famous teens come to terms with their own privilege, whilst delivering searingly honest accounts of what it is like for young people growing up in Britain today."
