Big Brother bosses to roll back the years for new series

‘Big Brother’ bosses are to take inspiration from the show’s first series for the new civilian season.
The first ever series of the popular reality TV show featured the likes of Craig Phillips, Melanie Hill and ‘Nasty’ Nick Bateman and aired on Channel 4 in 2000 – and Channel 5 producers are said to have looked back at the programme’s early years ahead of the next ‘BB’ eps.
Sources have told RadioTimes.com that the upcoming ‘Big Brother’ series will be influenced by the inaugural season – which featured housemates reading and looking after chickens – to make it different from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and the recent ‘BB’ series.
What’s more, producer Tamsin Dodgson, who worked on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ earlier this year, is said to be returning to the programme.
As well as Tamsin, Rylan Clark-Neal will also be involved in the show again when he resumes his role as ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ host.
The ‘This Morning’ co-host took to Twitter to share a picture of a poster from the show.
It states: "If you would like to be a participating member of our fun lively audience, and are aged 18 or over, please do get in touch with our Audience Team."
Rylan wrote on Twitter: "COME AND SEE US @bbuk #CBBBOTS xxxx (sic)"
Emma Willis will return to host the regular ‘CBB’ series and just last month she admitted she was still waiting for the confirmed list of celebs.
She said: "I’m still waiting for the confirmed final list. You hear speculation and you hear we might have so and so, we might have so and so and you get really excited about that possibility and then it doesn’t happen and you’re disappointed so I just kind of wait until the week before when I know everyone has signed those contracts."
Former ‘Coronation Street’ actor Ryan Thomas, porn star Stormy Daniels and, ex-‘Love Island’ star Gabby Allen are among those who are rumoured to have signed up for the show.
