Dua Lipa furious over airline’s response to sister’s severe nut allergy

Dua Lipa is furious with a United Airlines flight attendant for ignoring her request to not serve nuts during a flight due to her sister’s potentially deadly allergy.
The ‘One Kiss’ hitmaker had boarded the aircraft with her younger sibling Rina and politely requested that no nuts or nut products were handed out passengers due to the risk of her sister going into anaphylaxis.
However, the music megastar was told that this wouldn’t be possible as United is "not a nut free airline" leading Dua to share her anger with her 2.38 million Twitter followers.
She tweeted: "I can’t believe i’m on a @united flight rn and I told the steward that my sister was severly allergic to nuts and his reply was "we’re not a nut free airline so if she has an epi pen she might have to use that as we can’t not serve other passengers in your section nuts.
"Is it just me or is that kinda mental??? [sic]"
Dua, 22, and his sister Rina received a huge amount of support from her followers, including her pop star pal Anne-Marie who tweeted "rah wtf", and eventually the official Twitter account for United Airlines contacted the singer to deal with her complaint.
The tweet from the company said: "We apologize for this situation, and would like to find out more. Can you DM with your confirmation number, please? [sic]"
Dua – who also has a younger brother Gjin – has been using her Twitter feed to vent this week as she also took trolls who target successful women to task on the micro blogging site.
In a series of tweets, she wrote: "When the hate is weak … I just gotta laugh. I praise every woman killing s**t cuz people will hate on you for no reason … but we good! Every woman full stop. Some people are animals and they need a minute to check themselves cuz all we did was breathe and they’re on our neckssss!! Byeeeeeee
"The most important lesson to learn from all of this, is that no matter what you do, or what your goal in life is. You should work hard for the things you love and make you happy. Everything else is irrelevant! LOVE ALWAYS AND BE KIND xx [sic]"
