Stephen Graham joins Line of Duty

Stephen Graham has joined the cast of ‘Line of Duty’.
The ‘Little Boy Blue’ actor will be at the heart of the story in the upcoming fifth series of the BBC police corruption drama and is delighted to have landed such a high-profile role.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "It’s a huge coup for Stephen, even as someone with his long CV.
"Not only is ‘Line of Duty’ one of the hottest dramas on TV but he’s also following in the footsteps of a long line of high-profile signings, including Keeley Hawes and Daniel Mays.
"Producers are also thrilled to have him on board and have a very exciting story lined-up.
"Just as he did in ‘Little Boy Blue’ recently, he’s sure to have viewers glued to their edge of their seats."
Stephen will reunite with his ‘This Is England’ co-star Vicky McClure, who plays DS Kate Fleming, on the show, which resumes filming in September.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old actor previously admitted the audition process and subsequent rejection is "f***ing horrible" and he’d advise anyone starting out in the profession to develop "skin like a rhino" because the looks and comments can be hard to cope with.
He said: "It’s f***ing horrible. My advice to any young actor or actress is to develop skin like a rhino. You can’t take anything personally. Because I’ve walked into a couple of jobs, and straight away they’ve looked up and you know. In your head, you go, ‘F**king hell.’ ‘OK, sit down. Would you read it, please?’ You’re not even f***ing looking at me. The moment I walked in the door, the decision was made."
