Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are "working hard" at couple’s therapy.
Lisa Stanley, a close friend of the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star’s mother Kris Jenner says the 34-year-old TV personality is determined to stay with the basketball player – with whom she shares daughter True – despite him seemingly kissing another woman just days before Khloe gave birth in April, and her family having reservations.
The 62-year-old matriarch’s pal also claims that the ‘Revenge Body’ star doesn’t want to be made to look like a "fool" again after her failed marriage to Lamar Odom, who she split from in 2013 over cheating rumours.
Lisa told KIIS FM’s Celeb HQ: "She doesn’t want to look a fool. She was a fool once with Lamar, and she didn’t want to do it again.
"Khloe was always going to try make this work, for a plethora of reasons.
"The first reason is she has a child now, and she feels very connected to [Tristan] in that way.
"The second reason is she loves him. She clearly loves the man.
"She was never planning on leaving him.
"One thousand percent they are working through couples therapy. She’s working hard, he’s working hard. You can’t just earn trust back in two months."
However, Lisa insists that Kris and her family would much prefer it if the couple stayed on good terms for the sake of their little girl and for Tristan to just be a "baby daddy", after being left "humiliated" by the very public cheating scandal.
She explained: "If Kris and the family had it their way, she probably would be leaving. They’re not okay with this. This guy not only cheated on her it was on video and the world saw it.
"And she was humiliated. But she’s choosing to stay.
"If all they had it their way, Tristan would just be the baby daddy. And be very much involved. Apparently he’s a good father."
