Will Smith: All the adoration doesn’t make me happy

Will Smith says "all of the adoration" in the world wouldn’t make him happy.
The ‘Fresh Prince of Bel‑Air’ star has had "all the sex that I’ve ever wanted" and all the money he could ever need but says nothing will make him happy "other than being useful to others".
Speaking on TIDAL’s Rap Radar podcast, he said: "The idea is … I’ve been to the top of money, I’ve had all the sex that I’ve ever wanted, I’ve had all of the adoration.
"I’ve been to the top of all those material world mountains and nothing makes you happy other than being useful to others. That’s it. That’s the only thing that ever will satisfy that thing, is that what you’re doing is useful."
Meanwhile, Will previously opened up about how he used to pick films which would elevate his movie star status as his "focus shifted from my artistry to winning".
He said: "I had so much success that I started to taste global blood and my focus shifted from my artistry to winning. I wanted to win and be the biggest movie star, and what happened was there was a lag – around Wild Wild West time – I found myself promoting something because I wanted to win versus promoting something because I believed in it."
The 49-year-old actor – who has Trey, 25, from a previous relationship and Jaden, 19, and Willow, 17, with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith – is happily married to Jada and she recently insisted they will "never" divorce.
She shared: "I’m just, like, keep [the divorce rumours] coming. Here’s the thing about Will and I – [we] are family. That is never going down. It’s just not. Ever.
"We are family. Take out all that whole marriage/relationship c**p, at the end of the day, Will and I are family. I am going to hold him down, doesn’t matter. All that relationship and what people think ideas of a husband, partner and all that, man, whatever. At the end of the day, that is a man that can rely on me for the rest of his life, period."
