Love Island’s Wes Nelson to be left single

Love Island’s Wes Nelson will be left single on tonight’s (02.07.18) episode when Megan Barton Hanson ditches him for new guy Alex Miller.
The 20-year-old design engineer dumped Laura Anderson last week to get up close and personal to the 24-year-old model, before they were separated as the lads were put into Casa Amor along with six new ladies.
Despite barely giving their relationship a chance, Megan will shelve Wes tonight after developing a "really good connection" with Alex.
During the recoupling in tonight’s ep, she says: "Although I was getting to know Wes, I feel like I’ve had a really good connection with one of the new boys.
"He is genuine, he is fun and I really fancy him so I’ve decided to couple up with one of the new boys."
Host Caroline Flack then asks her who she would like to couple up with, and Megan replies "Alex."
Wes dumped 29-year-old air stewardess Laura last week only to hook up with Meg minutes later, but they have remained an official couple because a recoupling is yet to take place since the drama unfolded.
The tables are turned in Monday night’s ep as Laura has the chance to continue her couple with Wes or choose someone else.
Caroline asks her: "You were coupled up with Wes before the boys left for Casa Amor. But as we know you guys had broken up and Wes had been getting closer to Megan. The choice is still yours though.
"Would you like to stick with Wes or would you like to recouple?"
Laura tells the Islanders her decision and Wes heads back to the villa single, because he didn’t crack on with any of the girls in Casa Amor.
Elsewhere, the other Islanders have big decisions to make about who to couple up with, and Dani Dyer confesses her love for boyfriend Jack Fincham.
The aspiring actress was left in tears on last night’s (01.07.18) episode after she was shown a video of Jack reacting with shock that his ex Ellie Jones had joined the guys in Casa Amor.
In tonight’s ep, Dani says: "Me and Jack are boyfriend and girlfriend, he is my boyfriend. I have been so committed to that boy. As soon as the boys walked in, I was not interested. I’ve got a boyfriend, I’m very happy. That is it.
"I basically love the kid, I honestly do. Every time I see him I’m like ‘fit’."
‘Love Island’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
