Nicole Scherzinger doesn’t play tennis with her boyfriend.
The ‘Poison’ singer has only been on the court once with tennis player Grigor Dimitrov in their two-year relationship because they’d rather spend time with one another away from their work.
Grigor, 27, said: "I got her on the court once! She has great hand/eye co-ordination but we’re so limited on time that we try and spend time together just for us, not on tennis or doing her craft. We appreciate that time a lot."
Though the pair’s busy schedules mean they spent a lot of time apart, they are very supportive of one another and do what they can to make it work.
The sportsman said: "I think both of our successes have come because we help each other.
"The long distance and our time schedules are difficult but it is what it is. That’s how things are at the moment."
Grigor finds it hard having his personal life come under scrutiny but he just tries to focus on his sport.
He said: "I’ve always been a very private guy.
"It’s not always easy but I’m trying to control as much as I can.
"My number one priority is tennis. I enjoy that part of my life and I’m living the dream."
After the upcoming Wimbledon tournament, the Bulgarian player is looking forward to break and is hoping to whisk Nicole off on holiday.
He told Britain’s OK! magazine: "After Wimbledon is one of the only times you can take time for yourself.
"When you’re so limited on time, you want to do everything in one day.
"I’d like to take a few days holiday for sure and just enjoy the sunshine, but I have to start getting in shape for the US Open."
